Meet Me
My name is Cady Russell and I am a 18-year-old photographer based out of Austin, Texas. Photos by Cady is my outlet to the world, where I can share my photos so that everyone may see them, and maybe, want them. I have been invested in the outdoors since I was a kid, and now will be majoring in environmental science and sustainability. I also work on the school newspaper as an editor and play soccer.
Background
While I have limited classroom experience, having taken a basic photography class my sophomore year of high school that covered all walks of photography, have have been using a camera since I was five. I started with a simple 2003 point-and-shoot that my mom handed down to me, and have been photographing things ever since.
Photography Styles
Nature
My first and forever love will be the natural world. Ranging from landscapes to macro photography, I love it all. My most prominent style is macro photography featuring flowers.
Architecture
While I’m a country girl at heart, the city and its buildings never fail to amaze me. You’ll see I love the works of both modern and historical buildings.
Abstract
This is quite a new venture I have been partaking on. Using objects around me, I have been working on making more artistic photos and portraits that are not the type of material for senior photos per say.
